How to Send Google + Invites to your Friends

Join Me Now!

Have you heard Google Plus  is out and everyone is joining or can they?  If you’re looking for another alternative to Facebook, then Google + might be your next ticket.  If your already a Gmail user, you might have already received your invitation and not even know it. I found that by going to Google + page, that it wouldn’t allow me to join, but once I signed into my Gmail account, I realized that I was already a member and just had to set my account up.

Google Plus is currently available only by invitation. In order to invite people to Google Plus you can use any of the following three methods – by Hotmail Contacts, by Yahoo Mail Contacts or inviting people directly via email address.  If you want to send an invitation to Friends or family, I created  this tutorial we will learn how to send invitations to someone using an email address in Google+ .

Click on "Circles" Icon on your Top Dash Board

In the circles Section – Click the link “Add a new person”

Click "Add New Person"

Over there type the email address of the person you want to invite and press enter.

Enter in New Email Address you want to invite

After pressing enter – you will have to write the name of the contact (if applicable) and add him to a circle – then Click Save

Click to Choose How you Associate with that person

After clicking Save – You will immediately see a bar appearing at the bottom, asking that whether you want to invite the newly added contact to Google Plus or not – Click “Invite [User Name] to Google+

A new console will open that will give ask you whether you want to add additional contact to send invite or not. If yes, then you can also add other people to whom you want to send invitations by clicking +Add more people link or you can just click Invite Button to only invite the person you added in the last step.

Immediately Google Plus will send an invitation to your friend added in the above tutorial. Below is a screenshot of the invitation. Done! Not a member? Want to join?  Shoot me an email and Join my Circle!

I have to say that it was a bit annoying to send the invites via the little trick we had, by sharing a random post directly with someone’s e-mail. I now (finally) have the invitation link in the right hand sidebar :)

    PS Love your blog’s design.

Hey Brankica, thank you so you so much and welcome. I know what you mean, I had a hard time figuring it out myself and once I did I thought why not get the message out to help others that might be as clueless as I was. All the circle stuff was starting to make my eyes hurt. Lol! Thanks for stopping by Brankica!
