Whatever you have planned for this summer, your local parks are opening up their doors to some Free Days for everyone enjoy. I am a Travel Agent on the side and I love passing on information like this during an economic turmoil. It may not be much, but if you’re into camping, this will be right up your alley. Plan according and book your spot now!
Here is the information from the National Park Service Web Page: America’s Best Idea – the national parks – gets even better with several fee-free days at more than 100 national parks that usually charge entrance fees.*
Mark your calendar for these fee-free days in 2012:

OMG! Hajra, we get more Europeans visiting our National parks more than Americans. Last year we went to Bryce Canyon National Park in Utah and it was amazing, but everyone there was from another country. One guy said, we have nothing like this in my country and this is awesome.

LOL! That is amazing! My sister lives in California and her kids always bribe me into coming to visit! Her son has offered me an iPad if I visit!

Really what part of California? I am in the Bay Area. If you ever get the opportunity please come and let me know. Yosemite National park is another great gem in California. I have lived here all my life (minus 2 years in Missouri) and had never been there until 2007. I love exploring what’s in my backdoor because most times, those places are just as amazing.

I would love to visit some of the national parks in the US, but that’s not going to happen during 2012. My vacation will be in Denmark and Legoland with my wife and kids

We have a Legoland in California. I have never been, but I hear it’s a really fun place. Denmark sounds awesome. Take pictures!

Hi Sonia,

I visited some parks in the states last summer while I was traveling around the world. I visited Mojave Park and Yosemite park. It was amazing. I would love to come back again and discover other beautiful parks!
It is sure this is not a plan for 2012 but who knows next year

Yosemite is awesome! My favorite right now is Bryce Canyon in Utah. We drove across 2 states to get to it and it was a total blast! I went to Yosemite for the first time in 2007 and we didn’t get to see much of it because my man had back problems, but now I would love to revisit it again.
